BENJAMIN A. SCHALL

Mr. Schall is a career engineer and administrator with an outstanding record of managing both small and large projects. He has a strong background in engineering management, industrial electrical engineering, electrical engineering design, maintenance and constructing of control systems.

Mr. Schall holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineer from North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University, Greensboro, North Carolina. Mr. Schall also holds electrical certicates from Sweden and license from the State of New Jersey in the following areas: NJ Electrical Contractors License NO. El 13799 (not active; Programming PLC Certicates; Programming Sequential Events Recorder Certicates; Fault Sensing Devices in Plant Certicates; Auto CAD I, II, and III; and FANUC Robots electrical maintenance, PM and Pallet Tool Programming

He is Managing Director of EME and has worked in senior capacities with various companies in Liberia and the United States, including Managing Director and Chief Technology Ofcer of EME; General Manager of North Western & Metroline Engineering Services Jv. Monrovia, Liberia, and Senior Plant Electrical Engineer of Gregory Packaging Inc., of Newark, New Jersey, USA.

 

VARMUNYAH F. SHERIF

Mr. Varmunyah F. Sherif is our administrative manager. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of New Haven in Connecticut and various certifications in leadership, automotive engineering, diversity, and Workplace Place Violence Prevention. Mr. Sherif’s professional and work experiences cover decades of employment with Liberia Electricity Corporation where he started as a junior officer, became Commercial Manager, and more recently rose to the position of Deputy Managing Director for Administration.

He also possesses cross-sectional experience working in supervisory and other senior positions with various companies in the United States, including Daimler Chrysler and BAX Global, Toledo, Ohio, where he served as Supervisor /Area Manager for more than ten years; and Eligibility Specialist in Lucas County, Toledo, Ohio, Department of Human Services, among others .

 

Joseph T. Mayah

Mr. Mayah who serves as EME’s  Technical Manager, is an instantly recognized name in the electricity sector of Liberia. His life’s work has been devoted to this sector in Liberia, where he entered in the 1970s following graduation from the University of Liberia with the Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Mayah, known by colleagues and friends everywhere as “Joe”, also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Missouri in Rolla, Missouri, USA, in addition to numerous certications famed international training institutions, including the International Atomic Energy Agency in various areas of electricity. His service at the Liberia Electricity Corporation, where he held many senior managerial positions, including Deputy Managing Director and Managing Director, respectively, spanned more than three decades. He was recently retired with honors and adoration.
